FOOD SECURITY<\/h2>\n

We strive to ensure that families in every community have access to sufficient and nutritious food always. We partner with Bio-Gro USA<\/strong><\/a> to enhance community resilience in food security through care and restoration of the environment thus enabling communities to experience greater food security, increase incomes, and maintain sustainable food production – as evidenced by food production through interventions that best fit all members of the community – young men, young women , elderly men, women and children – such as maximization of land use ; appropriate animal husbandry ; organic fertilizers and appropriate farming technologies for small scale farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n

We partner with like minded Non Governmental Organisations (NGO\u2019s), Fatih Based Organisations (FBOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Community Groups, Health Facilities and individuals to realize sustainable socio- economic development. We partner with Gynocare Women\u2019s Hospital Fistula Reintegration program to build the agricultural and livelihoods skills of fistula survivors. Through this partnership, we expect to reach over 100 women with conservation agricultural skills as well as farm inputs such as seeds and appropriate technologies that enhance soil and plant nutrition for better yields.\u00a0\u00a0The projects are implemented through community empowerment, needs identification, problem- solving and informed participatory decision \u2013 making approaches. This enables the targeted community to think critically and find solutions to their own challenges.
