Dear Friend,
On behalf of families and communities we serve, I thank you for the zeal and interest you have in our work. We aim to enable children and their families explore their true purpose and experience their full potential.
Over the years, we have seen a great transformation in sponsored children, their families and communities. We have seen joy when children on our waiting list finally find sponsors for secondary (high school) tuition and livelihoods. We have seen tears of joy as sponsored children receive personalized gifts and letters from their sponsors. We have seen sponsors beam with joy when they watch video clips with messages from their sponsored children. When they experience first-hand households shifting from low food yields to enhanced food production and accessible markets for their produce.
Your involvement in ACLAD’s work has brought about great change in the lives of children, their families and communities. We have seen notable change –lives have been changed for the better, the girls have become more confident, “…my future is now bright…” and dreams have become achievable. This work was immersed in the prayers and financial support of committed individuals and families like yours. Through God’s grace, the opportunities for change for children, their families and communities were transformational. People explored their true purpose and embarked on a journey of self-discovery of their full potential. Children who were shy and timid are now able to clearly articulate their hopes and desires. They have a hope for a bright future and have shown great determination to be the best in what they do. Your support has provided the Stepping Stones for the children to thrive and flourish in their academic, extra-curricular and family relationships.
