Research and innovation are key pillars in our work as an organization. Africa Community Leadership and Development continues to experience growth in research activities.  We mobilise resources both internally and externally to enhance research and innovation in order to advance our community interventions. Through research, ACLAD endeavours to become a centre of excellence in action research.  We are committed to promote community-based research and innovation through collaboration and partnerships with local and international institutions of higher learning; Research organizations, Foundations and Hospitals.

ACLAD’s research aim is to:

  1. Partner with local and international research centres in order to address the root causes of social, economic and health challenges and propose promising solutions
  2. Promote a deeper understanding of community participatory research processes
  3. Provoke community driven solutions for identified problems.
