ACLAD’s work in Kenya began with a child sponsorship program and grew to include food security (agriculture), community and family strengthening and livelihoods improvement. Our programs are transitioning to focus on long term family and community strengthening focused on sustainable agriculture, household economic empowerment and education.

KILIFI COUNTY

We partner with: Kilifi Watoto Center (KIWACE), a Community Based Organization (CBO) established in December 2012, that works with the children of Ganze to address issues that hinder their holistic development.

KAKAMEGA, BUSIA AND NORTH RIFT (Eldoret, West Pokot)

We partner with: Gynocare Women’s Hospital – Fistula Reintegration Program. The reintegration program helps obstetric fistula survivors heal and rebuild their lives after surgery through vocational training, business loans, emotional support and educational scholarships.

Anglican Development Services Western (ADS Western)

A Faith-based organization whose overall goal is to contribute to the realization of participatory sustainable development among rural communities in the Western Kenya Region to inspire productive lives and to promote a God-fearing society.
