Born in 2007, he is the third of six orphan and vulnerable children living with their aged grandmother in Kakamega County, Kenya. His grandmother suffers from arthritis which has greatly hindered her vegetable selling business and household activities. Bravin sat for his KCPE in March 2022 and scored 316 out of a possible 500. He has been called to Musingu High School, but grandmother cannot raise fees for his school expenses. With your support, Bravin can continue with his education.
Born in 2004, she is the first of three siblings living with their alcoholic father in Kakamega County, Kenya. Due to his alcoholism and inability to support his family, the responsibility for her siblings falls on Sharleen's young shoulders and she hardly has time to study. She is in Form three and has secured a place in a boarding school, so that she can concentrate on her studies. The well-wishers who have supported her education thus far cannot afford the boarding school expenses. She is appealing for your support to help her finish her secondary school education at St. Joseph's Girls High School in Kakamega.
Born in 2003, the seventh of nine children, she lives in Kakamega County, Kenya. She is a total orphan, her mother having passed on in 2014 and her father in 2016. In July 2019, the principal of Bishop Sulumeti Girls High School in Kakamega introduced her to ACLAD. Petronilla is currently in Form Four, and will be sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education national examinations this year (2022). Petronilla would like to pursue accountancy in college. With your support, Petronilla’s dream can be a reality.
Born in 2004, she is the seventh of eleven children. Hers is a story of resilience and hope. Due to the size of her family and poverty, her parents are not able to meet all the needs of their children. Mwanaisha is afraid her secondary schooling will be challenged, and her desire is to be a lawyer. She is currently in Form Four at Bunyore Girls High School in Vihiga County, Western Kenya. This year, 2022, she will be sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education national examinations. With your support, Mwanaisha can explore her purpose and experience her full potential.
Born in 2004, she is the last of six siblings. She lives in Kakamega County, Kenya with her eldest and only surviving sibling. She loves reading novels and enjoys spending time reading the Bible with her family. She also enjoys interacting with her friends and sharing their dreams and aspirations for future colleges and universities. Naomi sat for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education national examinations (class of 2021) and performed well, scoring a B-. With your support, Naomi's dream of joining university can be realized.
